Post Office
Combine pretend play, writing, reading, and math with a simple post office dramatic play setup! Offer paper for creating letters, postcards, and cards. Include envelopes, stickers for stamps, and some recycled boxes for packages. Create a mailbox by cutting the top flaps off a recycled box and then attaching a trimmed poster board over the top of the box in a letter U shape. Repurpose a push toy like a toy shopping cart or a wagon into a mail truck or just offer a small bag to collect the mail. Have fun creating, pretending, and playing!

Salt Dough Handprint
Combine 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup table salt, and 6 Tbsp warm water in a bowl and mix well. Knead the dough until it’s smooth then roll out it to 1/4”-1/2” thickness. Press your child’s hand in the dough and use a bowl or cookie cutter to cut out their handprint. Place the handprint on a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 1-2 hours. Once the top of the handprint looks dry and solid, flip over and bake on the other side. Once the handprints are fully dry, you can paint them using acrylic or washable paint.
