Push toys through the paper tunnels while practicing math skills.
Materials:
- Cardstock paper
- Markers
- Scissors- adult
- Painterβs tape
- Toys that can roll or be pushed- small balls, toy cars, pom-poms, recycled pouch lids, pinecones, etc.
Instructions:
Cut five strips of cardstock paper and number the center of each strip from 1-5 using markers. Tape the strips of paper to the floor to make little arches using painter's tape (make sure the numerals are visible on the top of each arch). Roll or push objects through the tunnels and call out which number you rolled through.
Extension: Create this same activity on the wall instead of the floor to drop the objects through the tunnels instead.
