Use your feet to paint in this messy, full-body movement activity.
Materials:
- Recycled cardboard
- Washable paint
Instructions:
This activity is best done outside- it can definitely get messy! Lie a piece of recycled cardboard flat on the ground and weigh the ends down with a rock or another heavy item if needed. Dot the paper with several small dollops of washable paint spaced a few inches apart. Invite your child to paint with their feet! They might enjoy running back and forth across the paper, pressing their feet firming into the paint, hopping from one spot to another, or making shapes and lines with their toes. Once theyβre finished painting, spray their feet and the painting surface with a hose.
Tip- If youβd like to protect the surface, try this activity in the grass or use a plastic shower liner underneath the cardboard.
