Dance and move with this exciting stoplight dance game!
Materials:
- Jumbo craft sticks
- Construction paper (red, yellow, green)
- Markers
- Packing tape
Instructions:
Create “stoplight” paddles using craft sticks and construction paper. First, cut a circle from each color of construction paper (red, yellow, and green) to fit on top of the craft stick (like a puppet). On the red circle, write “stop,” on the yellow circle write “slow,” and on the green circle write “go.” Attach each circle to the craft stick to make the stoplight paddles. Turn on some favorite music and invite your child to dance based on the paddle you’re holding up. Dance freely when the green paddle is up, dance slowly when yellow is up, and stop and freeze when red appears! Take turns holding up the stoplight paddles and dancing.
