Animal Train

Cut a piece of copy paper in half longwise and attach both halves together using tape to create a long strip. On the left side of the strip, draw a train locomotive (the front of the train). Connected to the locomotive, draw six train cars (large enough that a sticky note can fit inside each train car). On each train car, draw a simple animal such as a cat, butterfly, ladybug, fish, etc. Then, attach the train to a wall or window using painter’s tape. After, draw matching animal pictures on sticky notes and hide them around the room. Your child will love searching for the hidden animals to match their spot on the train by sticking the sticky note onto its matching train car.
