Instructions:
First, draw a raincloud on the top of a piece of cardstock paper then write your child’s name inside. Next, cut out raindrop shapes (small enough to fit on the cardstock paper) from blue construction paper and write one letter in each raindrop to spell out your child’s name. Hide the raindrops around the house. Invite your child to search for the hidden raindrops, identify the letter name and sound, then glue it on the cardstock paper underneath the raincloud in any order.
Tip- It’s likely your child won’t arrange the raindrops in the correct order. This activity’s main focus is on naming the letters and sounds.
