Deliver the blocks to each construction zone.
Materials:
- Large vehicle or wagon
- Building blocks (alphabet blocks or small wooden blocks)
- Construction paper
- Markers
- Painter’s tape
Instructions:
First, gather 5 pieces of construction paper. On each sheet, write a numeral from 1-10 on the top of the page. Under the numeral, draw a corresponding amount of dots. Arrange the papers around the room and secure them to the floor using painter’s tape. These are the “construction zones.” Next, gather some building blocks and a large vehicle or wagon. Fill the vehicle or wagon with building blocks and choose a construction zone to drive to. Identify the numeral and place a block on each dot on the paper, counting aloud as you go. Travel to the next construction zone and repeat. Drive back to the “blocks zone” to refill with more blocks as needed.
