On brown construction paper, draw 8-12 basic shapes (as many as you can fit on a cookie sheet) and cut each shape out. These are the cookies! On each cookie, draw some chocolate chips. On a baking sheet, draw the same shapes using a dry-erase marker spaced apart. Place the shaped cookies on one side of the room and the baking sheet on another. Use a spatula to choose a shaped cookie, identify the cookie’s shape, and carefully carry it to the baking sheet. Place the cookie on the cookie sheet on the spot with the matching shape. Repeat until all the cookies have been matched to the cookie sheet.
