Instructions:
In a door frame or between two walls create a web using painter’s tape by sticking strips of tape from one side of the door frame to the other (varying height so some strips overlap). Be sure the sticky side of the tape is always on the same side. Then, stick pom-poms onto the sticky side of the tape and place a bowl nearby. Invite your child to remove the pom-poms from the sticky web and place them into the bowl. Use gross motor skills to reach, stretch, balance, and bend to remove and collect all the pom-poms!
What are they learning?
- Gross Motor- Builds strength, coordination, and balance of large muscles.
- Fine Motor- Builds strength and coordination of small movements in hands to pick up, squeeze, twist, cut, and manipulate tools and toys.
