Watercolor paintings look even more adorable with a simple frame!
Materials:
- Watercolor paper or cardstock paper
- Small container or jar
- Watercolor palette
- Paintbrush
- Painter’s tape or masking tape
- Scissors- adult
Instructions:
Cut a piece of watercolor paper or cardstock in half to create two canvases. Place painter’s tape around the perimeter of each paper to make a border. Use watercolors to paint inside the frame adding as much color as you’d like! Once dry, remove the painter’s tape border to reveal a clean frame around the painting.
Tip- It can be tricky for young preschoolers to add enough water to the paint palette to create vibrant paintings. Try spraying the watercolor palette lightly with water in a spray bottle to soften the palette a few minutes before painting.
