Decorate the first letter of your child’s name using a tape resist art technique.
Materials:
Instructions:
Use the tape to form the first letter of your child’s name on a piece of cardstock paper. Paint the paper (cover as much of the paper as you can) using paint sticks. Since paint sticks dry immediately, peel off the tape to reveal your child’s first name initial! If your child doesn’t paint the paper enough to see the letter underneath when you peel the tape, just leave the tape on. They’ll still be so proud of their work!
Tip- To avoid ripping your paper when removing the tape, try slowly pulling the tape parallel to the paper.
Extension- Use a marker to write the first letter in your child’s name on the paper and trim tape into strips to form the letter. Guide your child to cover each line with the tape.
