Draw a favorite fruit and add color using torn paper.

Instructions:
On a piece of cardstock paper, draw the outline of a favorite fruit using markers (an apple, banana, strawberry, etc.) Then, gather construction paper to correspond with the fruit you chose (banana = yellow paper, strawberry = red, etc.) Then, cut the construction paper into 1” strips. Squirt glue on the fruit and use your hands to tear the construction paper strips into small pieces. Place the pieces on the glue to cover the fruit. Repeat until the fruit is colorful!
Tip- Did you know tearing paper is a FANTASTIC way to practice fine motor skills? Your child will be strengthening their hand muscles getting them strong to be able to write!
