Match and glue letter stars to spell your name on the Earth space scene.
Materials:
- Construction paper (yellow)
- Scissors- adult
- Markers
- Glue
- Cotton swab *optional
- Yellow paint *optional
Instructions:
Arrange a piece of cardstock paper horizontally and draw half of the Earth on the bottom. Using yellow construction paper, cut out small-medium stars, one for each letter in your child’s name. Trace the stars in a row on the top of the paper. On both the star cut out and the traced star, spell out your child’s name. Your child will match the yellow star to its corresponding outline on the paper to spell their name. Once in the correct order, glue the yellow stars onto the cardstock. If you’d like to extend this activity further, add small stars in the background by dipping a cotton swab into yellow paint and stamping stars on the paper.
