Decorate a large butterfly with fun patterns and shapes.
Materials:
- Easel paper or poster board
- Markers
- Various collage/art supplies: washable paint, paint sticks, glitter glue, tissue paper, scrapbook paper, gems, etc.
Instructions:
On easel paper or poster board, draw a large butterfly using a thick marker. Add some patterns to the butterfly wings (polka dots, shapes, lines, etc.) but remember to keep it symmetrical! Use various materials to decorate the butterfly. You could also introduce different materials each day to continue adding more details throughout the week. This would be a fun activity to do together as a family!
