Cloud Dough feels so soft and powdery AND itβs made from ingredients in your kitchen!
Materials:
- All-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil
- Rimmed baking sheet
- Play dough tools *optional
- Tray *optional
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place 2 cups of all-purpose flour on a rimmed baking sheet and spread it evenly. Bake for about 5 minutes. This will kill any harmful bacteria in the raw flour. Next, add 1/4 cup vegetable oil to the flour mixture and mix to combine. Use your hands to rub the mixture together until there are no clumps. Keep the cloud dough on the rimmed baking sheet or transfer it to a tray for playing. Offer some play dough tools or other utensils from around the house. The dough is very soft and powdery but holds its shape well when pressed together.
Tip- If youβd like to color the cloud dough, add oil-based food coloring to the water OR mix unsweetened Kool-Aid powder with the flour.
